Small boat river journeys and charters.
In addition to the scheduled riverboat cruises that we offer, Mr Myanmar Travel can also charter vessels for day, overnight, multi-day and exploratory cruises. We have a variety of boats at our disposal, ranging from scaled-down, full service boutique cruise vessels, to small river and inshore boats. The boats at our disposal can undertake charters along the popular stretch of the Ayeyarwady River between Mandalay and Bagan; a far more personal experience than the large cruise ships. We can also arrange charters north to Bhamo, south to Pyay and Yangon – even on the remote Chindwin River, when the river is high enough. We can also arrange trips on the Yangon River; evening sunset cruises, day trips to the pottery town of Twante, and overnight and multi-day journeys of exploration to the Ayeyarwady Delta, Meinmahla Kyun wildlife sanctuary and Pathein.
Our smallest charter vessels have just one or two cabins, making charters in the Ayeyarwady Delta very affordable. Our Chindwin River vessels are atmospheric, scaled-down shallow-water cruisers with up to seven cabins. Chindwin cruise itineraries start from 5 days; though 6 or 7 days would be better. On the Ayeyarwady River, several vessels can be chartered including some quite luxurious boats. Meals and often drinks are included on all charters. Following is a list of some of the shorter charter possibilities. Please contact us for more details of these cruises, and alternative options.
